Detached was a multimedia installation toying with the friction between gender theory, memory, and the body as a site of expectation. In an attempt to pull apart a fraught relationship where power and gender performativity are negotiated, questions arose of lost and redacted history in trans masculine embodiment.

This work was exhibited at Portland State University in conjunction with the 2018 Arlene Schnitzer Visual Arts Prize.
